I used the services of Gerber Concrete Services, Incorporated a couple of months ago. They re-did some mastic that goes behind the coping tile. They were great. They did our pool originally. They were excellent in terms of their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. They did a great job.
Gerber Concrete Services poured concrete in the backyard for what I call my side yard and a walkway on the side of the house. They provided me with a quote too. The job turned out great. Instead of just doing what I said, they recommended what I thought they should really be doing in the first place. They took my plan and made it a good plan. The owner responds quickly. He emailed and got a quote out and got work done in a timely manner. It was good quality work.
I used Gerber Concrete Services, Inc. on the 14th of April. They ripped out some existing cement in the backyard, which was like a patio area and re-poured it. They also created a small retaining wall and installed a drain in the patio. Dan Gerber was great. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. His guys were on time, clean and tidy. They cleaned everything up after they were done and it was like as if they weren’t even there. Everything was awesome. I would definitely recommend them. Their prices are reasonable. Dan will work with you. He even made changes to the retaining wall. I told him one thing, but I didn’t like it. So, he came back and redid it at no extra cost, which was awesome. He was pretty quick in responding. I would definitely use their services in the future too since I have some work that needs to be done on the side. I am really glad I found them on Angie’s List.
Overall the job went very well. We asked Dan to break up his proposal into sections and cost each one separately, as we were thinking we might not be able to do all the work we wanted. Dan was very accommodating; he went along with whatever we requested. He was very prompt in returning phone calls & emails and very patient with all of our questions. Thanks to him, we know a lot more about backyard landscaping and concrete than before we started.
Overall it was a pleasure to work with Dan and we are very happy with our new backyard. We would not hesitate to ask Dan back for any new work.
After checking around, Dan’s prices were the best and he seemed confident in his ability to pour light crete (a form of concrete) over the radiant heating tubes that were installed in our living room. His crew was punctual and did the desired work. The results so far are great – the floor looks even and it is still drying. We are putting engineered hardwood over them.
The wall is beautiful… I can’t say enough about the workers. They were great and very hard working. They never stopped. They were like the energizer bunnies. Dan has been great through this whole thing.
